Crown of Mockery
This artwork symbolizes the perceived mockery of God within the Hollywood industry, where faith and sacred symbols are often appropriated or distorted. At the center of this portrayal are Beyoncé and Jay-Z, depicted as the King and Queen of the rumored Illuminati—a secret organization often linked to conspiracy theories surrounding fame and power. Other celebrities who are also alleged members of this shadowy group make appearances, representing the pervasive influence of these ideas in pop culture.
Travis Scott is illustrated as Lucifer, the fallen angel, inspired by imagery from one of his album covers that evoked a similar sentiment. To intensify the symbolism, I incorporated the crown of thorns worn by Jesus Christ during His crucifixion. This sacred emblem, juxtaposed with Hollywood’s glitz and controversies, serves as a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice and the forgiveness of sins. Through this piece, I hope to spark conversations about faith, morality, and the often-complicated relationship between religion and popular culture.

Mini Project

LONG LIVE THE KING
For this project, I went for the Metonymy option. I thought it would be fun to tackle the issue when it comes to driving the influence. The most common type of DUI has to be drinking and driving, as it happens way too often, unfortunately. As I was doing research, I saw how alcoholic beverage companies glorify their products, and of course, Crown Royal is my favorite drink, unless is a nice icy cold Soju bottle. In the image I wanted to tell a story, top section you see a crowd at a night club, everyone is having fun, DJ is playing your favorite music, its the vibes, but in the corner, right besides the DJ we have an unexpected special guest—the Grim Reaper, watching over the crowd. I chose the Grim Reaper because I wanted to symbolize that death is always waiting around the corner. Behind the bottle, we see the "Creation of Adam.", I chose this because God gave us life, and although we are supposed to devote our life to God, we instead choose to sin; we are sinners. Our actions always come with some type of consequence. if you choose to drink and drive, there is a chance that you could take your own life or take someone else's life. The whole "Long live the King" is inspired by the ads that Crown Royal constantly promotes their products, such as "It is good to be King" and "Who could blame you?" "Live like a king."

Blooper Project
I am a huge Jurrasic Park fan, and when the trailer for the new film was released to the world it inspired me to recreate an iconic scene from the original 1993 Jurrasic Park. This happens to be my favorite scene. I got these images from pexels. I went ahead and looked for a dark kitchen since the original film took place in a very dark and uncanny valley kitchen. I wanted the blooper to be a bit on the comedic side so I found an old picture of my cousin from Halloween 2023 with his T-rex Costume and I found this picture of a little kid hiding his face and I thought it would be perfect because in the original film the two children are hiding from the Raptors. Both photos were taken in a very bright setting so I had to mess around with the brightness and exposure as well as add a gradient layer and lower the capacity to get that shadow effect especially since the kitchen is very dark.
